Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse er et eksperimentelt electronica-pop-kunstprosjekt som beveger seg i skjæringspunktet mellom musikk, performance og visuell kunst. Prosjektet arbeider med et karakterbasert univers der figurer som Alfahesten, de brune hestene, de fem kaninene og Monkeyboy opptrer som musikalske og symbolske aktører. sammen med Mailind.
Karakterene fungerer som representasjoner av ulike indre tilstander og behov, og opptrer gjennom lyd, stemme, tekst og performative situasjoner. Prosjektet omfatter også et bredt visuelt uttrykk med fotografier, musikkvideoer og grafiske objekter som plakater, t-skjorter og buttons.
Til nå har Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse gitt ut to album, Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse (2007) og In Bed with S&A (2010). Prosjektet har også blitt presentert gjennom konserter og performative opptredener i ulike kunst- og musikksammenhenger.
Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse fungerer samtidig som en musikalsk inngang til det større karakteruniverset Galaxianwind, der musikk, figurer og performative uttrykk videreutvikles i installasjoner, fotografi og sceniske arbeider.
Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse is an experimental electronica-pop art project operating at the intersection of music, performance and visual art. The project develops a character-based universe in which figures such as Alfahorse, the brown horses, the five rabbits and Monkeyboy appear as musical and symbolic agents.
These characters function as representations of different emotional states and inner needs, emerging through sound, voice, text and performative situations. The project also includes a broad visual expression through photographs, music videos and graphic objects such as posters, t-shirts and buttons.
So far, Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse has released two albums, Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse (2007) and In Bed with S&A (2010). The project has also been presented through concerts and performative appearances in various art and music contexts.
Sonnenwind and the Alfahorse also serves as a musical entry point into the larger character universe Galaxianwind, where music, figures and performative elements continue to develop across installation, photography and live situations.
